Tours from Ulvik
At the northend of the Hardangerfjord, amongst steep mountains and beautiful orchards, the village of Ulvik awaits. Ulvik offers beautiful settings for an memorable Norwegian experience, and Hardangerfjord Adventure invites you to come and explore the jewel of the Hardangerfjord region. Our seasonal base (May–September) is at the idyllic and venarable Brakanes Hotel located by the water's edge in the heart of the village.
In Ulvik, you can immerse yourself in the charm of a quint Norwegian village, with delights like a grocery store, post office, pertrol station, restaurant, cafe and not just one, but 3 damous cider farms aling the local "fruit and cider route". The mix of natura beauty and charming hospitality makes Ulvik the ideal setting for your Hardangerfjord Adventures.
Ulvik is reacable by public transport (55-70 minutes from Voss town) but this remote village has a low departure frequency, so its best reachable by car from other towns or villages in the region like Voss (45 minutes), Eidfjord (30 minutes) or Kinsarvik (35 minutes).

In Rosendal, you can immerse yourself into a charming village, with delights like a grocery stores, post office, pertrol station, restaurants and cafe. The Hardangerfjord Express docks in Rosendal, conveniently located near the Tourist Information and the Folgefonn Centre. At the Folgefonn Centre, you can explore and learn fascinating insights about life in the Hardangerfjord, Folgefonna National Park, and climate change. It serves as an excellent introduction to experiencing the surrounding landscapes.
You can experience a lot in just one day in Rosendal. Start your adventure by getting valuable tips at the Tourist Office. There are several hiking trails that you can embark on from the center of Rosendal. If you're up for a challenge, both Melderskin and Malmangernuten are popular hikes. Skålafjell, Skjethaug, and Myrdalsvatnet offer shorter alternatives.
Rosendal is reacable by public bus transport from Odda (50 minutes) or the passenger ferry Hardangerfjord express from Bergen (2 hours).
