The fruit and cider route

Ulvik is home to the only "Fruit and Cider Route" in Norway. On this path you can visit some of the region's finest 3 cider farms, each offering a unique glimpse into the art of cider making.

Ulvik proudly upholds a long-standing tradition of cider production, emerging as the pioneering area during the cider renaissance of the 1990s. This charming village set the stage for what has become a thriving cider industry in Hardangerfjord.

At the Haugesenteret, you can get to know Hauge's life story and poetic works better, and experience poetry in many forms and across language barriers.
