Teodor is one of our local RIB captains for the 2026 season. He grew up in Norheimsund, right by the Hardangerfjord, and has spent much of his life on the fjord by boat.
As a captain, Teodor is calm, reliable and safety-focused — while also bringing a friendly smile and a good sense of humour to the experience. With his local background and natural connection to the fjord, he helps give our guests an authentic and welcoming Hardanger adventure.
Local area: Norheimsund, Øystese and the middle part of the Hardangerfjord

Known for: Safe guiding, local knowledge and a twinkle in his eye.
Teodor

Jarand is one of our local RIB captains at Hardangerfjord Adventure. Born and raised in Norheimsund, the Hardangerfjord has always been his backyard.
When he is not working as a fisherman’s apprentice, he is out on the water guiding guests through the stories, culture and wild beauty of the fjord. With hands-on maritime experience and a strong local connection, Jarand brings both confidence and authenticity to every trip.

JARAND
- RIB Captain & Local Guide
Rob is our RIB captain and local guide in Ulvik. Originally from England, he found his way to Ulvik in 2011 after several years of adventure as a ski instructor in France.
With a lifelong love for the sea and a strong connection to his new home by the Hardangerfjord, Rob is a natural host on the water. He enjoys sharing the beauty, stories and atmosphere of Ulvik with guests from all over the world. With his friendly personality, maritime confidence and local knowledge, he is ready to give guests an unforgettable fjord experience from Ulvik.

Known for: Warm hosting, thrilling rides and sharing the magic of the Ulvik area from the water.
Rob
- General Manager, RIB Captain & Local Guide
Thor is the general manager of Hardangerfjord Adventure — and the man who wears many hats. From guiding hikes and leading RIB safaris to handling bookings, creating social media content and keeping the whole operation running smoothly, Thor is involved in most parts of the adventure.
With a deep love for the outdoors and a strong passion for the Hardangerfjord, he enjoys sharing the stories, hidden gems and ever-changing beauty of the fjord with guests all year. Whether on the water, in the mountains or behind the camera, Thor is always looking for new ways to show Hardanger from its best side.
His sharp eye for landscape photography and local knowledge help give guests a personal and memorable experience..
