About privat chartered trips
Design your own fjord adventure with a private RIB charter on the Hardangerfjord – with boats based in Norheimsund and Øystese (around 90 minutes from Bergen), you have the freedom to explore where and when you want along the fjord. Your personal RIB boat and expert local skipper are at your disposal, so you set the pace and the itinerary. Whether you seek an adrenaline rush or a leisurely cruise, our charter adapts to you – race across crystal-clear fjord waters to hidden spots, or pause under towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls for photos and quiet moments in quaint villages. It’s all about freedom and personalization.
Popular options include venturing into the dramatic Fyksesund, discovering secret waterfall gems, or linking picturesque villages into one trip – but every charter is tailored to your wishes. This exclusive experience lets you enjoy the Hardangerfjord exactly on your terms, creating unforgettable memories for you and your group.
Practical Information
Our private RIB charters are operated by seasoned captains who know the fjord inside-out and prioritize safety. The boats are the same high-quality RIBs we use for our safaris – stable, speedy and well-equipped for all seasons. The boat features comfortable saddle-style seats in two rows, accommodating up to 12 passengers.
Being in an open boat lets you truly experience the elements of nature, so dressing appropriately is essential for your comfort.
What’s Included:

Dress comfortably and for the weather, with layers under the suit. Even in summer, the fjord wind can be cool at speed – a sweater or fleece and long pants are advised. Bring sunglasses to reduce glare, and apply sunscreen on sunny days.
