About the tour
Hardanger is the area that surrounds the Hardangerfjord and starts in the far west with the municipality of Kvam. The mountains in Kvam are easily accessible and offer great views of the fjord and Folgefonna. Around the townsships of Øystese, Norheimsund and Tørvikbygd are peaks that are popular with the locals, and with good reason since these spectacular peaks have great views of the Hardangerfjord and the Folgefonna Glacier.
In Kvam, our local guides conduct guided ski touring to summits like Mt. Tørvikanuten, Mt. Vesoldo, Mt. Tveitakvitingen, Mt. Byrkjefjell, Mt. Geitafjell, Mt. Torefjell, Mt. Skrott, Mt. Manfjell, and Mt. Fagraseteeggi. All with peaks 1000-1350 meters above sea level. All our ski touring tours are customized to meet the group's expectations, skills and needs, but we always take into considoration the forecast for the best snow conditions and the avalanche risks.
Group size is a maximum of 6 guests per guide, and we never go more than 12 guests together.
